Congratulations to the 30 Elders who represented Tharawal at this year’s Elders Olympics and for winning first place. Tharawal Elders Winners at the 2020 Elders Olympics. Thirty Elders represented Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation this year’s Elders Olympics.
The yearly event, organized by Macarthur Disability Services, was held on Friday 13th of March at the Whitlam Leisure Centre.
Our 2 teams engaged in activities, including Traditional Indigenous Games, for some friendly competition with other Elders from across South Western Sydney.
The day aimed to promote healthy lifestyles and wellbeing and provided the Elders with the opportunity to catch up with old acquaintances.
